Despite Safe Schools’ claims that their program is solely for the purpose of promoting ‘anti-bullying’ messages, it has become clear that the program is nothing more than a venue for gender identity indoctrination.
As statistics regarding the program’s results begin to surface, Australians are realising the major consequences which it has incurred. The most notable of these is the skyrocketing percentage of children and young adults who identify as LGBTI.
However, this should come as no surprise to Victoria’s Royal Children’s Hospital. Research shows that in the eight years leading up to 2009, only six children sought assistance from the hospital’s gender clinic each year. However, following the 2010 implementation of the Safe Schools program, an estimated 250 children are now visiting the clinic each year for gender-related issues.
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead have also witnessed a distinct increase in referrals for gender services, with their numbers tripling since the conception of Safe Schools.
Megan, who works at a clinic in Sydney with young people, aged from 12 to early 20s, who have asked for referrals for sex changes, says: “…There’s this push to refer them out and get them processed to [send them to] Westmead Children’s Hospital and into that [sex change] process.”
Similar cases have been cropping up throughout the country, all of which have a common thread: Safe Schools. Miranda Devine of The Daily Telegraph weighs in with more impugning evidence:
The NSW Education Department reports a “spike” in transgender students, including a four-year old in kindergarten this year “who has identified as transgender”.
Official statistics are tightly held but, anecdotally: one public school in Sydney’s eastern suburbs has five transgender children, according to the relative of a student; a regional NSW government Safe School had five transgender students at the start of last year, according to a former teacher; a Safe School in outer Sydney had 5 or 6 “transgender” children last year in Year 8, all girls, according to a concerned teacher. “Safe Schools definitely had something to do with all this,” he says. “We are losing this fight… very badly”.
Even industry professionals such as Dr John Whitehall, Professor of Pediatrics at Western Sydney University, are inculpating and criticising Safe Schools for the alarming spread of radical gender ideology.
Most transgender children will, “grow out of it through puberty if parents do little more than gently watch and wait… The worst thing that can happen is the child is adopted as a poster child for the school.”
With teachers being trained by Safe Schools to think gender is whatever you feel like, “it’s not surprising we’re seeing more kids responding to this propaganda and parents getting on board. It’s very hard for professionals to speak out.”
However, there is some hope. As the percentage of ‘confused’ millennials continues to rise, education minister Rob Stokes has confirmed the Safe Schools program has no place in New South Wales, implementing a broader anti-bullying program for all children.
“Bullying is a problem, whether you’re being bullied because you’re struggling with your sexuality or being fat or wearing glasses,” said an education source. “All this nonsense about gender fluidity has nothing to do with bullying.”
Nonetheless, the Safe Schools issue is far from resolved. Although the Turnbull government promised to discontinue Safe Schools once funding runs out in June, the program refuses to take its site down in NSW, despite multiple requests. The demolition of the program will be no simple matter
It is up to each and every one of us to counter the rising tide of gender confusion promulgated by Safe Schools, and reinstate to children a more innocent world. To do this, we must support politicians and medical professionals who are fighting against the program, along with amplifying each of our voices, and thus the collective voice of the silent majority. Otherwise, Australia will continue down its present path to a world of confusion and chaos.
