Tell Your MPs: Hands Off Our Freedoms!

URGE YOUR LOCAL MP AND SENATORS TO PROTECT YOUR FREEDOMS – IT ONLY TAKES TWO MINUTES!

Despite the huge media bias against the “NO” campaign, and widespread attacks on supporters of true marriage, millions of Australians voted against radically changing one of our key social institutions.

Throughout the campaign, supporters of same-sex marriage – including many politicians – told us there would no adverse consequences to redefining marriage.

To be true to their word, they must now support legislation to permanently enshrine our freedoms into law.

Fundamental freedoms such as freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, and the right of parents to decide what their children are taught about sexuality and gender must now be permanently protected here in Australia.

It’s time for our politicians to put aside personal agendas and respect the freedoms of the people.

Use this form to email your local elected representatives, urging them to PROTECT YOUR FREEDOMS!

The message below will be sent to your local federal MP and all senators from your state or territory. Please enter your details below:

Subject: Protect our freedoms!

Dear member:

Like millions of other Australians, I voted “NO” to redefining marriage.

And like so many other “NO” voters, I voted this way because of a variety of deeply held beliefs, including the belief that marriage can only be between a man and a woman.

The result also demonstrates that millions of Australians are concerned their key freedoms are at stake – freedoms such as freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, and the right of parents to decide what their children are taught about sexuality and gender.

As your constituent, one of many who has spoken up by voting “NO”, I ask that you and your parliamentary colleagues now support legislation to permanently enshrine these freedoms into law – regardless of any changes to the Marriage Act.

For the sake of our future generations, it’s crucial we respect and protect the key rights and freedoms that Aussies cherish. The way I vote at the next federal election will be heavily influenced by the way you vote on this issue going forward.

Yours sincerely,
